MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER / SENIOR PASTOR

Dear Friends & Partners,

When you hear God clearly, your only response is to obey. If there was any statement we’ve held firm to over the last five years, it’d be that one! We heard, with such clarity, that God was telling us to trust Him, His timing, and His provision and to step out in faith, leave our comfort in Kampala and settle in the village to serve his people in Kamuli, Uganda.

Since we settled in the area, serving under-resourced families in this community has been a central part of our lives and a privilege we never take for granted. With God’s grace and support from friends & members / partners, we have been able to:

• Establish a community church in the area (Mission City Church) and provide spiritual nourishments through all our evangelistic avenues such as weekly radio programmes on Radio Ssebo 106.3Fm, our community megaphone radio, film / door to door & crusade evangelism which has been so instrumental at instilling Godly values in lives of our people.
• Offer education sponsorships to the orphans & needy / less privileged children.
• Care for the sick, the old / the vulnerable and people living with disabilities.
• Nurture & develop children talents through setting up for them a formal playground and buying for them sports gears.
• Promote a saving culture through our initiated SACCO (Team Mutwalo) which also encourages members to work hard.
• Provide clean & safe water through lobbying for the construction of modern spring wells & boreholes.
• Provide hands on training, mentorship and leadership skills to youths.
• Provide welfare / accommodation to a few needy children at our childcare center in the area and so many other social and spiritual programmes in the area.

It is vivid, a lot has changed and we have registered a lot of testimonies: from a negative mindset to a positive thinking, a transformed, loving and God believing society. We are so thankful to God for all kind and generous people he is using to be a blessing to our people and our ministry at large. This work wouldn’t have expanded without them. We have always prayed for their excellence, prosperity and all blessings of life to follow them. We continue remembering them in all our prayers. We love them and they are God’s pride.

Our dream of turning this community into a city for God is steadily being realized but there are a few programs we started in the area that urgently require our urgent financial attention. This is thus the reason we continue getting up, to pray and knock out doors for more continued support towards:

• Constructing a community school in the area for underprivileged and orphaned children to receive quality education.
• Drilling 2–3 more boreholes in the community of Namisambya, Kamuli to provide access to clean water.
• Ensuring our supported children / students stay in school.
• Sustaining our evangelistic outreaches in the area i.e. our radio outreach, church ministry support & crusades.
• Our sports programmes / talent development.
• Our skilling training & childcare center (Yofochm center) expenses.

Because we recognize that achieving this dream requires the support and dedication of individuals like you who may share our passion for changing lives and transforming communities, we are thus inviting you to join us in dreaming, praying, and supporting our cause. After all, God blesses our lives to be a blessing to others.
